A strategic project to enhance the power grid in Trentino-Alto Adige with sustainable and low-impact solutions.

Coget Impianti is currently engaged in the construction of a new 132 kV underground cable connection between the substations of Moena and Campitello, located in the Val di Fassa (Autonomous Province of Trento). This 17 km-long project is part of the work planned to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the power grid in preparation for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The project will strengthen the local grid and improve the resilience of the electrical system, addressing the needs of a global event like the Olympics as well as the frequent extreme weather events that have affected the area in recent years.

The work, currently underway, is being carried out by Coget Impianti in a joint venture on behalf of Terna Rete Italia S.p.A. and is expected to be completed by the second half of 2025.

This infrastructure project highlights Coget Impianti’s commitment to delivering strategic and sustainable projects, designed to provide tangible and lasting benefits to the territory.
